We are thrilled to share that our team recently attended the Robotics in Education (RiE) 2024 conference held in the beautiful city of Koblenz. During the event, we had the opportunity to present our paper titled “Effects of Summer Robotics Activities in Libraries on Children’s Interest in Robotics and STEM Careers.”
Our research focused on how engaging children in robotics activities during the summer can significantly enhance their interest in robotics and potential STEM career paths. The insights and feedback received were incredibly rewarding, and it was heartening to see the enthusiasm and support from the academic and professional community.
Koblenz proved to be an amazing host city, offering a perfect blend of rich history and modern innovation. The conference not only provided a platform to showcase our work but also allowed us to connect with like-minded professionals and explore the latest advancements in the field of robotics education.
In addition to our time in Koblenz, we also visited a learning factory in Bochum. We were impressed by their innovative approach to bridging learning with industry needs. Their model of integrating practical industry experiences into the educational curriculum provides a robust framework for preparing students for real-world challenges and opportunities in the STEM fields.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the organizers of RiE 2024 and look forward to implementing the feedback and ideas gathered from this event into our future projects.
